England legend Alan Shearer has slammed referees for not scoring against West Ham in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea in the Premier League last Saturday night.

West Ham, trailing 1-2 sent the ball into the bottom of the net from Maxwell Gornet at the end of the game. When referee Andy Madley blew the goal but signaled from the room VAR. After checking back, it sounded that Jarrod Bowen went to foul Edouard Mendy. Which did not score this goal, which Shearer blamed on the acting of the referee in this match UFABET

“‘Minimize game interference. This is what we were told when VAR was introduced,” Shearer told Match of the Day. Or at least another half hour. (Referring to the controversy over Newcastle’s draw with Crystal Palace).”

“They should have been told to stay away from VAR agents. This is by no means a foul and I don’t think everyone playing this game will agree with VAR agent Jared Gillette and referee Andy Madley.

“The goalkeeper (Mendy) fell because he knew he made a mistake, Bowen crossed in. He wasn’t involved in the play. We saw Michael O’Liverpool take his verdict when he look at the monitor. (Check out the penalty in Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth) Why hasn’t he (Madley) sticking to his own verdict?

“It was a very bad decision and humiliating.”
